Payment Policy
Payment Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This policy explains payment authorization, currency, taxes, verification, and refunds.
1. Available Payment Methods
The payment methods currently available for a specific order are displayed at checkout.
Availability may depend on:
- Device
- Currency
- Billing country
- Shipping country
- Order amount
- Payment provider eligibility requirements
2. Payment Authorization
Submitting an order authorizes the selected payment provider to charge or reserve the order amount.
A bank may display a temporary authorization before the charge is completed.
If an order is canceled, a pending authorization may be released rather than posted as a separate refund.
3. Order Acceptance
Payment authorization or order confirmation does not guarantee order acceptance.
We may review orders for:
- Inventory availability
- Address accuracy
- Payment validity
- Fraud prevention
- Export or destination restrictions
- Pricing errors
An order becomes accepted when it enters confirmed fulfillment or is dispatched, subject to applicable laws.
4. Currency and Conversion
Prices and transaction currency are displayed during checkout.
If the payment method uses a different currency, the card issuer or payment provider may apply:
- Its own exchange rate
- Foreign transaction fees
- Currency conversion charges
These charges are controlled by the payment provider and are not set by SWISHFABLE.
5. Taxes, Duties, and Other Charges
Applicable taxes, including:
- Sales tax
- Value-added tax (VAT)
- Goods and services tax (GST)
- Similar checkout taxes
may be calculated based on:
- Product information
- Destination
- Available customer information
International import duties, brokerage fees, or collection charges may apply separately unless checkout expressly states they are included.
6. Payment Security
Payments are processed through payment services provided by the commerce platform and its payment partners.
SWISHFABLE does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in ordinary order records.
Customers should never send:
- Full card numbers
- Card security codes
- Account passwords
- One-time verification codes
through email or other communication channels.
7. Failed or Declined Payments
A payment may fail due to:
- Insufficient funds
- Issuer restrictions
- Incorrect billing information
- Authentication failure
- Transaction limits
- Unsupported currency
- Network interruptions
- Fraud-prevention controls
Please contact your payment provider or use another available payment method.
SWISHFABLE generally cannot access the payment issuer’s full decline reason.
8. Fraud Prevention and Verification
We may request reasonable confirmation of:
- Identity
- Billing information
- Delivery information
- Transaction details
before completing fulfillment.
We may limit or cancel orders that appear:
- Unauthorized
- High risk
- Intended for unauthorized resale
- Inconsistent with payment-provider requirements
9. Installments and Buy-Now-Pay-Later Services
When installment payment services are available, approval, repayment schedules, fees, interest, and account management are controlled by the applicable payment provider.
Refunds are processed through the original transaction and may be applied to installment balances according to the provider’s terms.
10. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow approximately 5–10 business days after refund submission for the credit to appear.
Final processing times are controlled by the payment provider and financial institution.
11. Payment Disputes
Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.
